One of the best ways to keep abreast of the latest developments in Esperantujo is to subscribe to a magazine. Obviously all national associations have their own journals e.g. the Esperanto Asocio de Britio publishes La Brita Esperantisto. Esperanto, the journal of the Universala Esperanto-Asocio is published monthly but I'm afraid that I find it rather too concerned with Association events and not a very inspired read.

An independent magazine tends to give a wider more world wide view of events.Many are avaiable are most can be subscribed to through Paul Hewitt

I feel the best of all is Monato, a monthly publication from the Netherlands which is excellent for up to date world news coverage (not just Esperanto matters but world news and opinions- hence a superb way of improving one's vocabulary) £32.
